Nightcap 4/8

Tonight’s Nightcap is all about the Masters.

Devil Went Down To Georgia

Patrick Reed has never won a major when he woke up this morning. That changed as he was fitted for his Green Jacket.

Lookin for a Soul to Steal

Jordan Spieth’s dramatic comeback was very impressive, but short. McIlroy was relatively consistent, and he did well but he just didn’t have the juice. However, I will say Rory continues to improve at Augusta, and I would not be shocked if next year was the year.

He was in a Bind ‘Cause he was way behind

The nature of the Masters is that it’s much better to be “alright” and have one spectacular round, than to have four “good” rounds. Along with that it’s really hard to come from behind. There’s a reason Gary Player is so famous.

He was Willin’ to Make a Deal

Patrick Reed did what he needed to do today to win. But more importantly, the people that needed to make moves just didn’t. Tiger and Phil just couldn’t do it. But that’s the beauty of the Masters. Sometimes it’s perfect for the outsider, and it’s a special tournament.
